Mobile System for Cardiac Monitoring
We have developed a mobile intelligent system for simple cardiac monitoring. The system is based on a rule-based Decision Support System able to formalize the expert’s knowledge in order to achieve more reliable alarm and warning generation. All the developed software modules lie on the smart phone with no needs of remote computational resources. The results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach, which minimizes the generation of unnecessay alarms.
